Meet Katy

Hope represents belief that things can change.  That change might not happen today or even in the near future, and it might not happen in the ways you expect.  Things in life often work out in ways that can only be appreciated in hindsight.

The journey of recovery is filled with trials and tribulations.  It's in these moments that hopelessness can sink in.  But it's from these struggles that healing often emerges, like a butterfly coming out of its cocoon.

I don't believe that anyone's future is hopeless.  I also know that recovery isn't easy, but with every ounce of my soul I believe it's worth it.

So when you are feeling hopeless, remember that this too shall pass and there will be brighter days ahead.  Rather than giving up, commit to trying one more time, and then one more time after that.  When you need hope reach for it wherever you can; I promise you it's out there for you to rediscover.

" When the world says give up, hope wispers … Try it one more time." – unknown
