This candy-crazed holiday presents real challenges for those who struggle in their relationship with food. Suddenly your house is filled with candy  you intended to hand out to trick-or-treaters, and perhaps then the candy  your children bring home. It can be difficult to eat intuitively in the presence of a food that tends to have such "charm."

Well-intended parents often try to limit or restrict the child's Halloween candy intake, and what they don't see is the big picture of how this reinforces a dysfunctional relationship with candy.
