Meet Katy

Animals are amazing. They are intuitive, passionate, and playful and totally secure in their bodies. What it would be like to channel that attitude in our daily lives! Here are few things I have observed about my dog:

  • She eats when she is hungry and stops when she is full.
  • She has never visited a gym or run on a treadmill and seems to derive great pleasure from playing outside.
  • When she wants some affection she insists upon it until she gets it. She’s not ashamed about the size or shape of her body.
  • She doesn’t seem to have an emotional attachment to her food.

Next time you are experiencing a “fat attack” ask yourself, "What would my pet do right now?" Chances are the animal would want some play time or maybe even a nap. Sounds a lot more enjoyable than hitting the gym and depriving yourself of dessert, huh?
