As we head in to Mother's Day weekend, I'd like to make a plea to all mothers out there: Be kind to your body.  It's pretty darn amazing that it created new life.  You literally grew another human being inside of you. 

I know so many moms who feel shame about the size/shape of their bodies.  Sure, your body might look different after giving birth, and that makes sense.  Your body went through a lot during that process.  Give it some compassion; give yourself some grace. 

So as you celebrate Mother's Day this weekend, take a moment to celebrate your body too.  You wouldn't be a mom without it!
