Meet Katy

Chances are it's some iteration of "You're not _____ enough."  Ultimately it boils down to some perceived inadequacy.  This is the birthplace of shame.  Shame is that feeling that you are flawed and thus unworthy of love or connection.

"Meditation is a way to defend yourself from the harsh and judgmental thoughts the mind creates."

– Megrette Fletcher, MEd, RD, CDE

By becoming aware of these critical thoughts and labeling them as such, you separate yourself from them and give yourself the opportunity to view them as just thoughts, not facts.  Reality is that you are enough, just the way you are.
