Meet Katy

Normal eating IS

  • Eating when you are hungry
  • Stopping when you are satisfied
  • Consuming a variety of foods in the big picture
  • Nourishing
  • Relaxed and enjoyable
  • Choosing foods that taste good
  • Sometimes over- or undereating
  • Trusting your body to tell you what it needs

Normal eating is NOT

  • Counting calories, points, grams, or any other metric
  • Cutting out food groups
  • Frequently or intentionally over- or undereating
  • Telling yourself that you have an intolerance just to avoid a food
  • Avoiding high calorie, high fat or high carb foods
  • Eating foods you don't like just because they are allegedly good for you
  • Based on a set of rules

These lists certainly aren't comprehensive.
