Eating disorders aren’t always obvious, and they are often overlooked in the intuitive eating space. I’ve seen way too many people feel frustrated that they’re not making progress with intuitive eating – and blame themselves – when the real issue was that there was an underlying eating disorder preventing them from making progress.
So how can you tell if you have an eating disorder? And what do I say to a client when I suspect this is what’s happening? I’m going to break all of it down for you in this episode.
Whether you have a history of an eating disorder (or disordered eating), or you wonder if you might have one now, or you’re just curious…this episode is going to help you understand what to look for.
And if you’re a dietitian, therapist or health and wellness professional, this is going to be a GREAT episode for you because it’s going to give you a peek behind the curtain of how I navigate these discussions. Make sure you check out my free guide called “10 Well-Intended Comments that Miss the Mark With Struggling Clients.” (Email or DM me for it!)
