This is day 7, the last day of the Your Turn Challenge – a challenge to blog every day for 7 days. Not as hard as it sounds. Today's topic: "What are you taking with you from this challenge?"
The Your Turn Challenge has been a lot of fun. It proves that we can all be writers if we are brave enough to have a point of view and share it. It wasn’t cumbersome, but rather it was a welcome challenge.
This event (is that the right word?) has blown me away as I observed the other bloggers posting every day, opening our eyes to thoughts and perspectives we may have never experienced before.
I’m also struck by how deceptively simple it is to DO SOMETHING NOW. The myth that we’ve been told that we should all sit back and wait to be told what, when and how to do something is holding so many back. It would be easy (albeit boring and thus painful) to sit back and let life happen to us, but I will not be a victim to this mentality anymore.
I feel empowered and for that I am grateful.
