Figuring out what to eat can be a real head-scratcher. The rules change almost daily. When all else fails, people tend to consult social media or the internet….which is obviously a great place to get nutritional advice, right?
I scoured the internet for some of the most laughable pieces of nutrition advice, and here’s a sampling of what I came up with:
because only eating lemons is obviously going to purify and detoxify your body. Oh wait, it’s your kidneys and liver that do that job. You’re torturing yourself for nothing if you follow this diet.
Do you seriously believe that our bodies “can’t process” or “can’t digest” wheat? Pleeeeease don’t fall for the hype.
What’s the worse piece of advice you have ever read or received about eating? Email me at katy.harv@gmail.com and let me know. Your answer might be (anonymously) used for an upcoming blog post!
