Meet Katy

Your posture of leaning in to this opportunity, of connecting and creating and picking yourself: this is your work.  How motivated you are today has nothing to do with the obligation you face.” — Seth Godin, What to do when it’s your turn (and it’s always your turn)

You have an opportunity.  An opportunity for freedom.

Freedom to make a difference.

Freedom to experience joy.

Freedom to have an impact on the world.

Freedom to make a choice (rather than have the eating disorder choose for you).

That opportunity you have – it’s called recovery.

Eating disorders are all about avoidance and fear.  Avoidance of discomfort.  And fear of being seen for who you really are – because what if who you are isn’t enough?  What if you’re so flawed you’re unlovable?

More importantly: What if you’re not that flawed?  What if you are worthy of love and connection?

I’m imploring you to choose yourself, and to choose recovery.  Because the opportunity here is tremendous.

This might not work.

It might not be fun.

I hope you’ll do it anyway.

— Seth Godin
